We are thankful to announce our 7th Annual URC of PEI Women’s Conference. The conference will take place, Lord willing, Friday March 8 and Saturday March 9. This year’s theme is Effectual Prayer in the Life of the Christian. Prayer is not always easy and often we face obstacles that hinder our communion with the Lord. During the conference we will focus on the practical ways we can overcome these obstacles and grow a healthy prayer life through God’s grace at work in us, in Christ. Our speaker this year is Pastor Michael Jaatinen from Zion ARP in Moncton.
As in previous years, Friday evening is open to everyone, men and women, so encourage your husbands and teenage kids to attend as well. Saturday, March 9, is for women and older teen girls. Like last year, the conference will be held at Community Baptist Church on Sherwood Road in Charlottetown and the cost will be $25 for Saturday (Friday is free).
